ChromaSplit 3MF

ChromaSplit 3MF is an offline Windows application from MaterialMatrix for inspecting, separating, and exporting color information from 3MF files. 

It can:

•  preserve existing colored triangles with Surface Split or attempt validated watertight bodies using its more advanced Hybrid Solids workflow. 
• Secure, offline 3MF importing Color and material detection Interactive 3D inspection Surface Split versus Hybrid Solids Inserts with matching negative cavities Watertightness and geometry validation Cross-section and Cavity View tools Aligned 3MF and STL exporting Current limitations and unsupported features ChromaSplit 3MF is still a work in progress. 

There are bugs, unsupported models, difficult geometry cases, and vendor-format changes that still need to be addressed. Texture painting, composite materials, continuous gradient preservation, subdivided face-paint separation, and G-code interpretation are not supported in this version.

 If you test it, always work with copies of your files, inspect every warning, and verify exported parts in your slicer. Bug reports and challenging test models can help turn this promising tool into a dependable part of the 3D-printing workflow.
